Welcome to CEOC

Welcome to the Cambridge Economic Opportunity Committee (CEOC). We are a group of dedicated individuals working as a team to eliminate poverty's causes and impacts. Because this is such a huge task, we offer programs and services to alleviate the immediate effects of poverty in the here and now while working on that goal.

CEOC has a rich history in Cambridge of successful organizing efforts around affordable housing, health care, and hunger relief. CEOC offers advocacy assistance and referral for individuals and families who are eligible for federal and state benefits. Some of these benefits include Food Stamps, WIC, SSI, SSDI, & TAFDC. CEOC is active in supporting laws and regulations that protect everyone's access to all public benefits.

This is the entry-point to our many programs and services for low-income residents of Cambridge and Somerville. Be sure to stop in at 11 Inman Street to meet us in person, whether you are in need of services, want to volunteer, or both!
