In a year defined by uncertainty, one moment stands out in its gravity: the federal government shutdown that halted Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for the first time in history.


Meeting the Moment
For the first time in the history of the program, SNAP benefits have been paused for November due to the shutdown, causing over 10,000 Cambridge residents to become food insecure overnight. Cambridge is stepping up to help!
